Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

  • "Company," "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Oak Homes, a registered cleaning business.

  • "Client," "You," or "Your" refers to the individual or entity entering into an agreement with the Company for the provision of holiday let cleaning services.

  • "Property" refers to the vacation rental or holiday property for which cleaning services are being requested.

2. Scope of Services

  • The Company agrees to provide cleaning services for the specified Property as outlined in the booking agreement.

  • Services may include, but are not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces, as well as changing linens and restocking supplies.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Payment for cleaning services is due within 7 days of invoice.  Failure to do so will result in suspension and further action being taken to obtain monies owed.

  • We accept payment via BACS or cash.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled cleaning will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled cleaning. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5. Property Access

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring the Company's access to the Property at the scheduled cleaning time.

  • If access cannot be granted, the Client may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to provide accurate and detailed information about the Property, including any specific cleaning instructions.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring that the Property is safe and free from hazards that may impede the cleaning process.

7. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

  • The Company will provide its own cleaning supplies unless otherwise arranged.  Equipment is supplied by the client unless otherwise agreed.

  • If the Client requests the use of specific cleaning products or equipment, these must be provided by the Client and meet safety and quality standards.

8. Liability

  • The Company will take reasonable care in providing cleaning services. However, we are not liable for damage to items that are not properly secured, and we are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, improper maintenance, or third parties.

  • The Client agrees to inform the Company of any valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items that require special care.

9. Insurance

  • The Company carries liability insurance to cover damages that may occur during the provision of our cleaning services.

10. Feedback and Complaints

  • The Client is encouraged to provide feedback regarding the cleaning services provided.

  • In case of dissatisfaction, the Client should inform the Company within 24 hours of the cleaning. We will investigate and rectify the issue, if deemed appropriate.

  • The Company has the right to send a cleaner back to the property to rectify any complaints.

11. Confidentiality

  • Both parties agree to keep any confidential information exchanged during the course of the agreement confidential.

12. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 7 days' written notice.

  • The Company reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the Client engages in disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff.

13. Photos

  • The Company reserve the right to take photos of your home, however these photos will not contain any personal information, photos or distinguishing features.

  • The Company may use photos for advertising purposes.

 

By booking our cleaning services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms are subject to change without prior notice, and the most current version will be posted on our website or provided upon request.
